Default decimal place

I am creating a table, under a field type I chosed mumber, and under that I
chosed standard and under decimal place I chosed 2. And I have saved the
changes. The problem is I always get a number with no decimal place. Why, and
how can a get 2 decimal place for that number?

Try choose a number type like Double or Single rather than Long Integer or
Integer.
