Default Repeat or continue on a Form

I want to create a form that allows the user to type in a request have it
respond and then allow the user to type in another request. This would be a
request calling up item information. If I have not worded this correctly
please let me know. This is process I am trying to create I have never tried
in Access. I am trying to make it act like our ERP/MRP system which allows
and esc key or cancel key to allow another item number to be entered to
lookup data.

Thanks for all your help.
