Display question in random order OR Use variable to define properties
I am building a survey in Access 2003. One of the questions has 5
possible answers, and respondents can select all that apply. I have created a checkbox for each of these questions. Each time the form is opened, I want the questions to display in a random order. I have created a random number generator selecting 1 to 5 only once that works fine. Each checkbox on the form is named in the following format chkq31, chkq32, etc... I know the position on the form that I want for each checkbox using the Top and Left properties. I created a variable for each question order (not the question #), and using the number generator, dynamically change the name of the question that is assigned to a certain position on the form. For example: q1chknm = "chkq3" & array(1) (The result would be something like chkq32) This works for all the questions What I'm trying to next does not work q1chknm.top = 1000 Is there a way to get this last step to work? |
