PPT Charts Disappear
I recently upgraded to Office 2007, but many people I work with haven't, so I save my files as 1997-2003. I have a ppt presetnation that links to exel. Some of the links contain charts. These charts disappear, sometimes. Sometimes, they are there, sometimes they are not. This is regardless of whether the linked document is open or not. If I see the chart is missing and go to the excel file to recopy the link, when I come back, the chart has disappeared. After I repaste everything, when I go to print, some of the charts have disappeared again.
Also, if all the charts are there, if I save and email it to my co workers, they open it and either the charts are gone or there are there, but when they look again, they are gone. This is driving me crazy. The compatibility checker tells me that there maybe some incompatiblility, but as these files were originally created in office 2000 and aren't very big, I don't see what the problem could be. I have the service pack 2 (jun 2009) on my computer, but this hasn't helped this issue. Thank you for any solutions, as this is driving me crazy.
