Default Resizing a Visio File

I have a 36 x 24 in doc I need to resize to letter or legal. In page setup
it resizes the paper but the objects remain. Can someone explain the steps
to get the entire format to shrink?

Try this:
After selecting "Letter", make sure "fit to one sheet(s) across by one
sheet(s) down is checked on both the page setup and print setup dialog boxes
and "No scale" for the drawing scale is checked.
