Default Moving Contacts from old computer to new

Hey Russ, you seem to know what's going on. I recently had my Outlook addresses and email folders backed up on a CD. I now want to import the information onto a new computer. I located the .pst files but when trying to import, I get a message "Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use". When I click OK, another message comes up "File access denied. You do not have the permission required to access the file D:\Outlook.pst". Any ideas?

First, do not import the file. Just open it.
Do so after you have moved the file to your hard drive and removed its read
only attribute.
