Default Idenities different using outlook and outlook Express

I have been using Outlook Express 6.0 for a while now and would like to use
Outlook because it has more features. One problem I see is with Outlook
Express you could have several identities but the nice thing was the way
Outlook Express handles them. I had 4 identities and my wife 2. I would
double click the icon and a list of identities would come up. Then you could
choose who you were (Steve) then under Steve, you had a password to enter to
let you in Outlook Express. Once you were in you could then have your email
accounts download mail from the server with either adding an additional
password or having the password automatically added from the setting of
remember my password that was done during setup of that account. It was nice
because others users would not ever get to see your downloaded mail.
Now with Outlook you also have identities and what happens is when you
double click it’s icon you get a splash screen with the identities listed. I
select (Steve) and it asks for a password. Here is where the problem starts.
If I do not type in a password Steve’s email page opens anyway with all the
previously opened email from the past days for anyone to read.
Does anyone know how to make Outlook as private as Outlook Express when you
have different identities in use?

Thanks
Steve
