Vlookup and return the value from the look up value sheet
Dear anyone,
I have come across with vlookup funtion which i have to use it at my work. I have two sheets. Sheet 1 has charge codes and value, and sheet 2 has specific charge codes. I want look up value from the sheet 1 and table array from sheet 2 but return value is only in sheet 1 which I want . How to sort such problem since vlookup only allow me to return the value from table array sheet in normal circumstance without adding up any additional formula. Your help is much appreciated. Vlookup and return the value from the look up value sheet
Your question really does not make any sense at all!
It would appear that you have two sets of charge codes. Are these identical or not. If true, then use the one which also shows the charge value, to do your VLOOKUP. If false, I suggest you move the values to Sheet 2, or else get the two tables linked, so that the one in Sheet 1 is the same as the one in Sheet 2. It really serves no purpose to have two sets of data which are almost the same? -- HTH Kassie Replace xxx with hotmail "Burmalion" wrote: Dear anyone, I have come across with vlookup funtion which i have to use it at my work.
