Access 2003 hyperlink
Hi,
Can anyone help me ? At work we have a database that for each record we have to type the following H:\quotes\12345.doc this will then enable us to open that document. Is their anyway of letting access do this for us. I mean creating the "H:\quotes\12345.doc" part. The number is an automated number by access called [quote no] this is a field name. I've tried the following in the hyperlink field called [open quote] ="h:\quotes\"&[quote no.]&".doc". The above method does not seam to work when I run the database in form mode. When we click on the hyperlink field nothing happens. What is the best way to get around this problem? |

Access 2003 hyperlink
I have only a few things to check, not an answer, but noticed that nobody
else answered. Make sure you are also loading the target of the hyper link, not just the display. The help files (on hyper link field) have the syntax to do this, I think that you put a pound sign in between them "Mike Cooper" wrote: Hi, Can anyone help me ?
