Secure SMTP
f a client is configured using secure SMTP ie TCP 465 , can this be
configured without authentication ? I am just trying to confirm if TCP 465 is secure SMTP , but using TCP 587 means Secure SMTP with authentication . Thanks |

The mail provider is free to require authentication no matter what port they use for SMTP connections. Your mail provider must tell you whether or not they do. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
