Default Validation Rule and color

Hi All,

Is there a way to have a field with a validation rule change color rather
than pop-up the validation text if the validation rule has been violated? I
have a database with several required fields and it would be better if, once
the employee submits the data, the improperly entered fields could be
highlighted in some way.

You might want to take a look at Conditional Formatting... depending on what
version of Access you have.

Default Validation Rule and color

This goes in the format line in the properties box.

"Above Limit"[Red];"";"On The Edge!"[Blue];""

You can change the [bracketed]colors.
