Default Numeric field is rounding up

I have a numeri field that is set for two decimal places.
However, when I enter a number 6.80, it rounds up to 7.00.

Does anyone have any ideas / suggestions?

Make sure that the numeric type is single, double, or currency depending on how large a number you need to hold. It sounds like you have it set to the default which is long integer. An integer is a whole number.
