Default beginner - need help

....using Publisher 2003 in Windows XP...

I have created a page that I'd like to leave open on my desktop. This page has links to all of my commonly used files and directories (Excel templates, Word templates, Network drive directories, etc.). I would like to use this page as a sort of "massive Quicklaunch toolbar".

So far, I have created the page and placed all of the hyperlinks on it complete with their descriptions. However, whenever I click on a link it opens (either browsing a directory, or opening Word or Excel) in the same window.

Can I force hyperlinks to open their "targets" in a new window?

Right click / Open in new window?

Or Shift + Click
Or set your html page as your desktop (active desktop)
