Excel 2007 - cursor down & left after entry - How?
Hi
I didn't select any options, just took the default. Didn't give any password. When I say I unlocked the columns, I meant that I selected those columns, FormatCellsProtectiontook the tick out of Locked. I have all versions of XL from 97 to 2007 on my machine, and the behaviour for 2007 I have not found in any way different with respect to the things being discussed in this thread. -- Regards Roger Govier "skrappySenior" wrote in message ... Glood morning Roger - what options did you choose for the protection of the sheet? I do not have 2007 on this computer and file is at client site or I would gladly send you the file. And yes - definitely using the tab key - it is a form that has two columns of numbers to be entered (A & B) - a forumula exists in column c (cells locked) a selection is made from a drop down list in column d, Columns e & f have formulas (vlookup) dependent upon the drop down list for column d and tables created on a separate worksheets. Excel 2007 - cursor down & left after entry - How?
Good Morning Roger,
I did exactly as you documented in your reply, with the exception of choosing the option "select non-protected cells" only - this creates the problem that I defined originally the cursor does not return to the originating column - truly it does not, but thanks for your time and consideration "Roger Govier" wrote: Hi I didn't select any options, just took the default. Hi
Select Locked cells AND Select Unlocked cells. Then it works as described. -- Regards Roger Govier "skrappySenior" wrote in message ...
