Default "Check box" to show public calendar

We use a public calendar to schedule a meeting room. Somehow, I got this
public calendar to show in my calendar section so all I have to do is check
the box to show it side by side with my personal calendar, versus going
through my folder list, choosing public calendar, etc.

I need to show someone else how to do this, but can't remember how I got
this to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you added it to Public Folders\Favorites.
