Default Runtime Error

In a previous post, more details about the Runtime Error Alert that I receive
was requested for further diagnosing of the problem I am experiencing with
Outlook 2003. I have since received the error again...

The problem that I have is that, whenever Outlook performs "heavy tasks,"
such as receiving or sending large or ample messages or processing rules, it
abruptly shuts down. This originally was occurring on just one computer, but
is now occurring on both of them. I originally was receiving the Runtime
Error Alerts when this abrupt shut down occurred, then they went away. But
now, they have come back.

I am using XP Professional on both machines; one has SP2, the other has SP3.
This issue is with Microsoft Office 2003.

I would like any help that would allow me to avoid having to reinstall
Outlook or Microsoft Office. Because it was one one machine, then begin to
happen on another also, I am suspecting a Windows or Microsoft Office Update
(?).

--------------------- BEGIN ERROR ALERT ---------------------
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

--------------------- END ERROR ALERT ---------------------

Thanks for any help,
Zakhary

Default Runtime Error

I wonder if this a problem with the Adobe PDFMaker software, as described
here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906899)...? It would seem odd only
because I have had Adobe Creative Suite 3 for so long. Will see.

If any other ideas transpire for the cause of this, please reply with the
details.

Create a new user account with administrative rights.
Login as that user
Launch Outlook with a new mail profile and configure the POP3 account.
Set it to grab all mail from the server (we can copy it into another PST
later).

Sounds like a corrupt PST. Change your mail delivery location to a new
PST and see if the behavior persists. Except, this is Outlook 2003. I am
not sure if that can even be done with OL 2003 as easily.
