remove time grid from Outlook 2007 calendar
Is there a way to REMOVE the time grid on the left of the Outlook 2007
calendar?? I have just upgraded from Outlook 2002 and cannot seem to fit the same amount of information in the weekly view in the new 2007 format. I would rather just put a time in and have it appear EXACTLTY, instead of having it fit somewhere in the grid. I would rather have the 7 large squares to type stuff in (weekend being split), then waste my usable space with the time grid. |

Since there are a lot of people who Don't want this Time Grid , why can't
this go up for review and perhaps a download be issued to remove it for those who want to ??? LOL ! Your right. 2 people is not a alot! However I have read at leat 10
posts asking for this, (again not a lot)(maybe they are under a different category) and I'm sure there are more. But regardless, it is an annoying issue. You should be able to manipulate your calendar in any way shape or form that you want! You should not be stuck with such a tight format! With all the unique & brilliant minds at Microsoft , you would think they would write the programs so that each person would have the ability to personalize it as they wish.. Thanks! "Diane Poremsky" wrote: 2 people is not a lot... regardless, it may or may not be something Microsoft is considering for the next version of Outlook. It is unlikely to make it into Outlook 2007 as an update. Rather than remove the time scale, they are more likely to bring back some from of a weekly calendar - they do get a lot of requests for the old calendar view (which was removed because calendar overlays couldn't use it). -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Duopshebop" wrote in message ... I would like to add that there are more than just 2. I also want to bring up
that when we go to print the 2007 version, it does print in the format that people are wanting. Seem silly that we can print the format we want, but not use the format we want. The weekly version with out time grid was the default option to print weekly for me.. Seems silly huh??????? You're talking about the weekly planner view? It won't be back in outlook
2007 but its on my list of things to discuss with them next week. Whether it will be back in outlook 14 remains to be seen. We'll know in a yr or so. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: ** Please include your Outlook version, Account type, and Windows Version when requesting assistance ** "Jason E" Jason wrote in message ... remove time grid from Outlook 2007 calendar
Let me add my voice to those who HATE the time grid. The two-week view
option suggested here is feasible, but much worse than the Outlook 2003 view. I would love a "classic view" option in 2007 which would let me see, at least my calendar, the old way.
