Create a new PST file.
Copy your Contacts Folder into it. Open that PST file in the other installation of Outlook. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Eddie" wrote in message ... Personal contacts
I won't to do the same thing and have tried but doesn't
work. I have Win XP, Outlook 2002. Want to copy contact file from PC with all my email addresses to my Laptop. The Laptop already has a Contact file of over 230 names, etc. I made a new folder under Contact on the Laptop named Email Address. Exported the contact file on my PC making new .pst file and named the file Email Address. Copied that file onto the Laptop with copy/paste in Win Explorer. Tired to import file and it wouldn't work. I even tried exporting file from PC to Excel and then importing that file to the Laptop. It worked, but only copied the names and no other data. Help! -----Original Message----- Create a new PST file. Copy your Contacts Folder into it. You did not do what I posted.
Did you see the word import and export anywhere in my instructions? Try the instructions I gave. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "dmahanay" wrote in message ...
