Getting lost in big posters
Hello. When printing out a large poster made up of many pages it is very
easy to get all the pages mixed up. Some may fall out of the printer on the floor etc. it then becomes tricky to assemble them, if not impossible. Is there a way to print the page number on each sub page? If you go to 'insert page number' it treats the entire poster, which may be made up of dozens of A4 sheets, as one page!. Is there a way to print a different number on each of the A4 sheets? Thanks. |

Hmmm.... pay attention to the print set up screen? Errr... watch the printer as they come out and make sure they're in sequence? How big a friggin poster are you printing that you would have to have a tremendous amount of A4 segments that you can't put in order even if they're strewn on the floor?? maybe you're over-reaching your capabilities I can't imagine how beautiful your final product would look with all those litte pieces ... ) lurk on |

You just need to be careful. Anyway here's an example of a poster:- http://cheshirecat.port5.com/gallery3/picture155.htm |

You could grid (arrange menu) the poster and manually add numbers. See attached...

You could number them as they came off the printer.
Dozens of sheets. If you don't have one sounds like a printer able to do 11x17 (or whatever the A size is) should be considered or maybe a plotter. Don "BrianXZ" wrote in message ... Hello. A small child turns to Ed, and exclaims: "Look! Look! A post from
BrianXZ !"... I take it there isn't a way of doing it. You just need to be careful.
