Combo Box
I have created a Combo Box in an Access 2007 Database with four possible
items from which to select. Is there a way that the Combo Box Cell can display more than just one of the possible items? Thank you Bev |

Combo Box
Bev,
You will need to give your Combo Box a *Row Source*. Are your four selections in a seperate table? You would use that table as the Row Source. If you need some help with that, please back with the table name and how many fields the table has. As a side note, Access has fields, Excel has Cells... so you have a *Combo Box field*. -- Gina Whipp 2010 Microsoft MVP (Access) "I feel I have been denied critical, need to know, information!" - Tremors II http://www.regina-whipp.com/index_files/TipList.htm "Beverly418" wrote in message ... Combo Box
If you are wanting to select multiple items, a combobox can not do that.
Rather, take a look at the multi-select listbox. Steve "Beverly418" wrote in message ... I have created a Combo Box in an Access 2007 Database with four possible items from which to select. Is there a way that the Combo Box Cell can display more than just one of the possible items? Thank you Bev |

Combo Box
Bev
You posted in a newsgroup supporting table design, but asked about a "combobox". Is there a chance you are trying to use the "lookup" data type in a table definition? If so, a scan of this newsgroup will reveal that this data type is generally held in low regard. More info, please... Thank you so much for your responses. I can now see that in this case I need
to find another way. "Beverly418" wrote: I have created a Combo Box in an Access 2007 Database with four possible items from which to select. Is there a way that the Combo Box Cell can display more than just one of the possible items? Thank you Bev |
