Default Merge and center, text disappear

After selecting an entire row and clicking to Merge and Center botton, then
I type in the text I want,I then jumped to the the new cell or row, but then
the text I just typed from the Merged cell on top disappear. What is going
on?

Thank You.

If you selected the entire row to merge and center, chances are the text is
too far to the right to be seen on the screen. I'm betting that if you do a
print preview, you'll have a lot of pages to print, but the text will be
there.
