Can I set new "File As" criteria for contacts already in my contacts folder?
Hello,
I'm using Outlook 2002 SP3. I recently imported my contacts list from gmail to Outlook. Even though I set my "File As" structure to "First, Last", (in ToolsOptionsPreferencesContact Options) the contacts I've imported still sort as "Last, First" in the actual folder. Is there a way to make all my contacts sort the way I need them to without having to change the File As format in each individual entry? Should I have done something differently before importing them into Outlook? Naomi |

Those settings will not apply to Contacts you import. To change the File
As... field for existing Contacts requires code: http://support.microsoft.com/default...Product=ol2002 -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "heartleaps" wrote in message oups.com...
