word document formatting.
can anyone tell me, to change formatting of the characters in word document.
for example if i have a document that consisting of different paragraphs with different formatting. first may have "times new roman" size 10 another set of lines may have "arial" size 12. So in such a case i want to replace formatting of the document of words that has "times new roman" sized 10 to "courier new" size 12. and "arial" size 12 and other word formatting will remain as it is. Is this possible in word 2000 Thanks for any help V |

Yes, using the Replace function. Click on the More button and then on
formatting to replace formatting. Even better, though, apply and modify styles. http://addbalance.com/usersguide/styles.htm. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
