MS Fax & Multi Modem cards

I have a Digi Acceleport RAS 8 (8 modem) card. I'm wondering if MS Fax is
compatible with multi-modem cards, or if there is a limit to the number of
fax modems that MS Fax can address.

Most current Microsoft Fax products support only a single modem which cannot
be shared.

users, and I'm almost certain that it can support at least two serial
attached modems. Is there somewhere that I'd be able to find documentation
on this issue?

No it isn't. Microsoft Fax was a standalone product in Windows 95/98.

The only sharable fax services Microsoft currently offer are part of Small
Business Server and Windows 2003 Server. There is no fax service of any
kind included with Exchange Server 2003.

Obviously this shows my confusion. The fax software that I'm using must be
the component of Windows 2003 Server. I assumed that it was installed as
part of Exchange, but clearly that's not the case. Exchange is running on
W2003 Server and the fax component was installed via Control Panel.

Microsoft Fax in Win2003 works with multiple modems as well as a few multi
modems cards. Can you check the following - do the 8 modems show up
separately in the Fax Management Console? If it shows up separately as 8
devices, they will work parallelly.

I checked the digi.com site and found that this model supports Faxing, so
that should not be a problem.
