Allow delete/insert cells to del/insrt highlighted rows/columns
The delete cells or insert cells buttons don't allow the user to
delete/insert when a complete row/column is highlighted. This ability disappeared in our recent upgrade to Excel 2003. It allowed 1 button to do the work of 2 based on how cells were highlighted. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Allow delete/insert cells to del/insrt highlighted rows/columns
I'm not familiar with such a toolbar button, usually if a key works two
different ways it is builtin and the Shift key is what changes how it works. So it doesn't quite sound like what you describe..
