Default Addressing in WORD Envelopes

I've been using Envelops and Labels in WORD (2000) for some time. I used the
pulldown in Envelopes to select the address from my Outlook Contacts.
Recently one of my contacts moved. I updated their address in Contacts but
cannot seem to find a way for the new addess to be available in WORD
Envelopes.
I tried deleteing the person from the pulldown but it won't go away. I tried
blanking out the address after inserting from the pulldown, then pasting in
the new address. That works for that time only but the pulldown still has
the old address next time.
Any suggestions?
Could it be some problem with the Address Book versus Contacts? I have been
using Contacts for years since it first became available.

Are you accessing this recipient from the MRU pulldown or the address book
itself? The latter will contain your updated information as long as the
Contact resides in the same Contact Folder you are displaying in Word's
Address Book.

Not sure what a MRU is. In WORD I've used the Envelopes feature. Under the
labels the only options I have are the pulldown or to type in the address.
My problem is with the pulldown. Seems to me there should be someway to
update that pulldown list with the current information in my contacts.

MRU is "most recently used."
Don't use it.
Use the Address Book icon instead so that you can access your updated
Contacts.
