Default Replace default error message dialog box with customized one

Hi all,

Is there a way for me to replace an error message in a pop-up (such as "The
field 't_PondData.PondID' cannot contain a Null value because the Required
property for this field is set to True. Enter a value in this field.") with
my own, more easily understandable message for the baffled, non-Access whiz
(e.g., "A pond name must be entered first")?

Thank you,

Jill
