OFFICE 2003 - Outlook Problems
I just installed Office 2003 on my desktop. I am having problems seeing my
e-mail messages, although I can see my old e-mail messages. How do I see my current e-mail messages? |

Dear Andreas Roeder:
Thanks for your reply, if you are asking if I have an email set up, I believe it is set up, because I was receiving e-mails fine before I installed the 2003 version. The problem is that I am not sure if there are other things causing issues. First of all, IRealize that I have more than one Personal folder, which one has some old e-mails in it the other does not have anything in it. When I look into these folders, It says that there is a script error, I don't know if that is related. The reason I think that my e-mail is receiving is that when I turn on my computer and start Outlook I can see the task bar at the bottom showing that it is receiving e-mails. The frustrating part is that I can not find them, I do not know where they are sent. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks, FLWS "AndreasRoeder" wrote: FLWS wrote: I just installed Office 2003 on my desktop. I am having problems seeing my e-mail messages, although I can see my old e-mail messages. FLWS: Have you tried choosing View from the menu (while in the Inbox),
Arrange by, Current View, Unread messages in this folder? Just a thought. Annie:
Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately this did not work, as I have already seen all the messages in the current setting, which is equivalent to my old e-mail since I installed the 2003 version of office. I don't know if this will help, but when I look at the About Outlook section, it show that I have both the 2003 version and the 2002 version of OFFICE on the computer. Also, I can see all my personal folders and the associated inbox. I just can not figure out where the e-mails are going since each time I start the program it shows that it is receiving messages (Send and Receive button). Any help is greatly appreciated. I have the same problem. It worked just fine until 4 days ago. Now, it says
it is downloading the items and then it is done. I can't find them. They are not in the inbox. Usually, it will have a bold number next to inbox showing the number of unread items. It does not change or show what is in there. Normally, when getting items, they would start appearing one by one as it gets them. They would be in bold until read. Now, they don't and I can't find the items and they are deleted from the server. I also cannot move an item to a folder. It says "Can't move item". No explanation beyond that. What is going on?
