Error on Exit
HELP ANYONE........
"Your Uncle Albert" wrote in message ... I'm running Excel 2000, and I noticed that when I exit the program I get this message: It does not seem to hurt anything, and when I go back in the file that I was working on is 100% okay.. Is it something that I should not worry about? Or does anyone have any ideas? And where is this error log so I can view it? Thank You YUA |

Your error message disappeared.
And it's better to post in plain text. Just type the error message into your followup. Your Uncle Albert wrote: HELP ANYONE........ "Your Uncle Albert" wrote in message ... Error on Exit
I wasn't able to view it in the follow up message you posted--the original had
disappeared from my headers. ======== There are lots of things that could go wrong. Depending on your version of excel, you can do a Help|detect and repair. You'll need xl2k or higher to do this. Sometimes the customized toolbar can get corrupted and cause this. Search for your *.xlb using windows find. Rename all the ones you fine to *.xlbOLD and test it out. If the problem doesn't return, then delete those *.xlbOLD files and recreate your toolbar at your leisure. Sometimes, it's the workbook that could be causing trouble. Does it only happen on one workbook? If yes, maybe it's time to rebuild that workbook. But it could be lots of things. Maybe the printer driver is interfering with excel. You could try switching printers to see if that helped. If it did, I'd visit the printer manufacturer's site and get a newer/fresher copy. But I think it's pretty much trial and error to diagnose this kind of problem. If it's happening on a few files, my last resort would be to remove excel and reinstall.
