Default Excel 2000

I need to install Excel 2000 on a laptop with the OS being
Windows 2000. How can I do this with a Office 2000 CD?
Or is this possible?

Thanks,
Debbie

Debbie,

Just insert the CD and run the Setup.exe program.

During the install you will receive a choice to do a
Default or Custom install--Choose 'Custom' and in the
install program options page there will be a set of
programs with down arrow buttons using the mouse just
choose 'Not Available' for the other programs at the top
of the respective trees.
Once you are in the custom install options it is pretty
intuitive.

Thanks, I wasn't for sure what the not available option
was for. It worked for me.

Thanks again,
Debbie

.

Insert the CD and go through the menu, You can choose
custom, and follow the instruction. You can choose just
excel or excel and word or the whole package.
