default number formatting
All excel worksheets (Office 2000)have become formatted
so that any number you enter gets a decimal point. E.g., if you enter 243, the result is 24.3 -- I have deinstalled Office from the computer and reinstalled. I have cleared all the formatting from the cells. I have tried to reformat the cells and the only way the numbers will go in without a decimal point is as a text field. This first started to happen with an older spreadsheet that has correct information. I even tried to use the format painter. Any suggestions? |
