Can Outlook open script eMail?
Yes, is it possible? I would like to use Outlook to open all my scripts eMail I received from friends. I know Outlook Express has no
problem and Outlook always complain that "This HTML message contains script. Which Outlook cannot display. This may affect how the message appears." Only the color Stationery appears -- no sound, animation, text message and clicking the Open button has no effect. I already change my security setting to Internet in Outlook, and enable the script in the registry. Please tell me what to next, also can I create scripts stationery in Outlook? Thanks In Advance! -Rino |

Can Outlook open script eMail?
Outlook is more secure than OE. If you want to take the significant risk of running script, open the message and use the View | View in Internet Zone command. But don't say we didn't warn you not to do that.

Hello Sue,
Agreed and I wouldn't blame anybody except myself BUT your direction is no good and lead to nowhere. I'm using MS Outlook-xp --- I'll be glad if you could give your step by steps instruction. Can Outlook open script eMail?
Step by step:
1) Open (not preview) the message. 2) Click the View menu. 3) Click the View in Internet Zone command on the View menu. What happens after that depends not on Outlook but on the content of the mail message and the security settings for the Internet Zone security zone in Internet Explorer. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx " R I N O " wrote in message ...
