Default Contact Lists

i've been working in Outlook 2003 for the past 1yr or so, however never
really paid attention to the OWA contact feature. When tying to add a contact
i notice that i have 2 choise in the dropdown.

Global Address Lists
Contacts

Can anyone explain to me what is the difference?

The Global Address List is the list of people in your Active Directory who
have mailboxes. Contacts is your Contacts folder.
