In excel when you are in print preview and you click on
setup in header and footer you can customize by hitting a
button which will place the worksheets name in the
footer. Does anyone know how to customize that button so
that it will show the path and folders as well as the data
file? thanks

Newer versions of Excel include an icon that looks like a file folder with a
piece of paper poking out. This is for Path and File name. If you don't
have that, try manually typing &[Path]&[File] in the footer and see if that
works.

As a last resort you can write a VBA module to put it in.
