Default Office 2007 Beta activation

What if microsoft only gave us 50 odd tries to use the product?? It is only a
BETA remember, Febuary might have been the date we have to use those 50 tries
before??

I too stand in line waiting to activate, can't believe how many people are
posting about this but no comment from MS.

Well I suppose we should all be appreciative of the public beta.

but what use is the public beta if no one is able to use it! I'm only hoping
that for any of us who run out of uses of the suite, activating it will let
us use it again!

I'm unable to activate my copy of Office 2007 Beta 2 either. I have contacted
Technical Support and Product Activation Support only to be thrown about -
seems their front-line staff have completely no idea.

My friends in Microsoft said that they could activate it when they received
the same release 1 week ago - looks like it's possibly overwhelmed by the
traffic they got. Just have to wait for now I guess. Can anyone post a reply
when you manage to activate this product?

Well, it's 7 hours later and the activation problems are still occurring. I'm
assuming that MS is aware of this (with all the posts they better be). Too
bad...I was looking forward to giving the Outlook client a good going over,
but it seems that it's not to be....

Here,one is
"The Activation Wizard is unable to find a connection to the Internet. Please
make sure your connection is work properly and retry the activation in a few
minutes."

I just start wondering that maybe it's Taiwan user's own problem,
Well, now it looks like everybody gets the same situation...
I reinstall office2007 beta five times and still gets the same replay
Close the firewall didn't help, use proxy didn't help
So maybe it's MS's server problem?
I hope I can stick before they solve it...

Default Office 2007 Beta activation - what happens when trials run out?

Oh guess what guys? You wanna know which features get disabled after the
grace uses expire?

The most important ones i.e. the ability to save and make new documents!

Well I must say, this really IS turning out to be a usefuly beta
indeed...now where did I put Office 2003...
