I type 4 and get 5
Hello,
My wife has an odd issue with her pc and it drives her insane, hence I am insane. I cannot replicate this on any of our other pc's. She has WindowsXp and Office Pro 2003. When she is in either word or excel and types the number 4 the application changes the number to 5. Notepad doesn't have this issue, so we initially thought spelling and grammar was the culprit. Does anyone have any ideas why this is occuring? I believe her pc to be up to date with the latest service packs and windows updates. I just want to play my video games in peace, so I need her pc working. |

I suggest you post this question in a Word or Excel newsgroup, since you suggest yourself that it is not related to Windows. When you do so you should say if your wife uses the numerical keypad for her numbers or the key above the letter "R". |

Did you pee your bed last night? Why are you all ****y? What you said was
kind of rude...and there was no need for it! You should apologize, because you acted like a moron. "Pegasus (MVP)" wrote in message ... "amdrit" wrote in message ... Err how is telling someone that the problem is with Word and Excel and NOT with Windows XP rude and moronic? -- Asking a question? Please tell us the version of the application you are asking about, your OS, Service Pack level and the FULL contents of any error message(s) |
