MORE VALIUM!

I have sat here all morning. I tried my invitation in
Word, Publisher, and Powerpoint. Maybe I should try Excel
or Access. One particular line will NOT PRINT in any
application. I changed the font color to yellow and back
to black. It's a short line. I cannot figure this out. I
was going to get an early start today. Not gonna happen.
I'm going for a walk now. :-(

Hi Erika,

Is it possible that you had installed an updated printer driver before
your crash that you forgot to reinstall on your new setup? Check your
printer mfgs support site for an updated driver and instructions on how
to install it.

I downloaded the printer driver from the HP web site. It was the only
one for my printer PSC750.

Thanks.

Ok...it was just a thought.

WinXP includes a driver for your printer,
I wonder if it would be better or worse.

I could try it. I don't think that's the problem tho. I do a lot of
graphics work with very precise placement. I have never had this problem
before. The two lines that are not printing are the very top line and a
line near the middle. Neither line is as long as the left-right margins.
I've made the font bigger - smaller - different color. I had each line
in it's own text box, and then I changed it to one big text box, and
altered the line spacing before each para to get it to fit. The only
thing I didn't try is taking another text box and pasting it over the
first line. I'll do that later.

I just noticed you mentione Win ME? In
that case my suggestion about the WinXP
driver is out.

Read the articles - sorry, not really relevant. Will write back to HP.
They are sometimes helpful and always polite :-)

man oh man.

It's working in Powerpoint of all things. I rotated a photo and it was
jagged in publisher; ok in ppt. Have to get the spacing perfect but I'm
on my way.

Did use up a whole cartridge of ink ;-)
