Default REFRESH shape data macro

I've got a complex business-process diagram, and I'd like users to simply
double-click on a shape to update its information from the supporting Access
database.

I tried to record a macro to do this, but it ended up blank.

Is there a simple shape.refresh or other function that I could put in the
macro? Please be specific.

Thanks!

What version of Visio?
How are you linking to the database?
