Default Problem setting up Outlook Today as startup page in Outlook 2002

I am trying to get outlook today to come up when I start outlook (2002
version). I have followed the instructions and on the Outlook Today page have
clicked "customise outlook today" and checked the startup box. In addition to
this I have confirmed that from the main menu selecting Tools, then Options,
then the Other tab then the Advanced Options button from the General section,
the screen shows outlook today as the selected item for "startup in this
folder". So all seems fine. But each time I start up outlook (even after
rebooting) it comes up in my inbox. Help!!

Check the shortcut you are using to start Outlook - it may be set to Outlook
Today and you need to change it.
