Outlook Changeing Anniversary Date from 4/1/2000 to 3/31/2000
I have no idea why, but for some reason Outlook keeps changing every entry I
have for an Anniversary that happened on 4/1/2000 to 3/31/2000, I really can't figure it out, is this a known problem? |

Is it staying an all day event or changing to 11 pm to 11 pm etc? if the
hours are changing, you changed time zones on the computer after creating the appointment -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Yes it is staying as an All Day event. And it is only happening on the
Anniversaries that were set for 4/1/2000, the 20+ other anniversaries are not having the issue. It is very perplexing. And it is only doing it with my office computer (running 2003) my personal computer (running OfficeXP) is not having that issue. In the past I have noticed what happens when I need to change time zones but the anniversaries are being changed in the Details Tab of the Contacts where the date is set. And for some reason it changes both spouses and a 3rd person in my contacts who was also married on the same day, however it doesn't change any of the 3 contacts birthdays which is set much the same way. Very VERY odd, and confusing, and changes it no matter how often I adjust it back from 3/31/2000 to 4/1/2000 and resave the contact. (I guess one plus side, with the amount of times I have tried to fix it, I probably will never forget their anniversary at this point.) Outlook Changeing Anniversary Date from 4/1/2000 to 3/31/2000
Yes - a Blackberry. Here again it is syncing properly between my Laptop
(Office XP), and gets changed when I sync against the office Computer (Office 2003). Because of a concern of my address getting mixed up a while ago, I created a completely different contact list that does not sync with the Blackberry. So on my Laptop I have created a "Backup Contact List Laptop" and on my Office Computer I created a "Backup Contact List Office". However, even in the backup list for the Office Computer, the date gets changed. I was hoping there was a "Log" that was generated, that may show if it is an internal (Outlook), or an external (Blackberry Software - maybe) that was causing the change. Today at work I'll try not activating the blackberry software and change the dates and restart the computer and see if the dates still change and will be happy to let you know. This may just be a case of all the planets aligning at the right time and causing a gremlin to play around with the data. If the change in dates was also happening with my home computer (using all the same software except for the version of office), it would be a lot easier to say it was an external program somehow changing the date, but since the change is not happening at home, the fingers are just pointing at a glitch in my office computer.
