Read Only
Hello,
I created my MS Database on my C Drive - I am ready for people to use it so I put it out on a Shared drive and now my Database is Read Only why? I checked Properties - the Attributes is not checked for Read Only. Can anyone tell me why my database turned into read only - it does not do it for me when I open it? Thanks |

The most likely cause is that your users don't have Change permissions to the host folder. There are a number of "best practice" steps you should take to make your application multi-user, one of which is to split it. More info he http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/splitapp/index.htm If you still have the problem once you've split your app and checked permissions then post back. Keith. www.keithwilby.co.uk |
