Default Pivot tables & Dynamic Ranges?

Hi,

Does anyone know if pivot tables can be based on dynamic ranges (defined
with OFFEST/COUNTA)? as I've tried but can't seem to get it to work.

Many thanks,

Jason

Yes, it's possible. Make sure that when creating the range you use absolute
references like
=OFFSET($A$1,0,0,COUNTA($A:$A),COUNTA($1:$1))
or something similar.,
give it a name (MyRange) and click add.

Then, in PivotTable wizard, when you get to screen asking for range of
cells, type the name of your range (no equal sign)

MyRange

Note that you still need to update the pivot table for changes to take effect.

Hi,

To make a range dynamic, you may convert it from a range to a list 9Ctrl+L)
