Default Next records creates a new record

Hi,

I have a problem that when a next record button is clicked (created with a
wizard) on my subform, it creates a new record. Not the typical "You cant go
to the specified record" error message you normally get. I think it is
automatically adding some data to a feild on the form somewhere which is
creating the record. Any ideas?

Further information: It is automatically inserting my "linked field" id value
when the next record button is pressed. I don't know why this is different
to my other subforms. On my other forms, it only puts the linked id field in
as soon as some new data is type.

???

I have created the form again and it doesn't seem to be doing it this time.
Strange.
