Publisher 2002
A friend uses Publisher 2002 with XP.
Unlike my 2000 version he cannot import .mix files generated using Photodraw. How can he correct this 'fault'? |

Publisher 2002
Can Photodraw save the file as another type, i.e., jpg, gif, bmp etc?

I'd bet good money that you don't have the 2000 version of Publisher (a.k.a. Publisher 2000), but rather PictureIt! Publishing, or possibly Home Publishing. Neither of these products is Microsoft Publisher. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher |

Publisher 2002
Publisher 2000 can insert .mix images, any Publisher version after 2000 cannot.

My .mix files are from Picture It. .mix files from PhotoDraw may react differently. -- John Inzer |

Tell me about it. I've been trying to open a .mix file for another MVP. I've
tried PI!2000 and 2002 and they can't do it. Publisher can't insert them. I'd love to be able to open this file and save it as a .jpg for him but I can't. It's been quite frustrating. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "John Inzer" wrote in message ... As I understand it...PhotoDraw files must be opened in PhotoDraw and saved in a different format. You are welcome to send the file to me, but I probably cannot open it either. pianopartsAThotmailDOTcom -- John Inzer |
