Default Writing Word letters from "Contacts" in Outlook

Has a solution to this aggrevating matter been developed yet? I open a
contact and can not write the contact a letter using Word as I used to do
using Outlook 2003. Why?

Quick Access Toolbar....

I saw that solution in another thread after I'd posted my response - another
one for the book!

Both of these suggestions are good. and I have tried. Thank you. However, I
must have a problem in my software because the address is not pulled up in
Word or Word simply closes on me when I try mail merge. I just completed a 2
hr. + session with A Dell rep and problem is still not solved.

word 2007? did you try detect and repair (Help, office diagnostics)? You
need to add the address block (or other merge fields).. they are not
included automatically.
