Can I update tables from a form using query with multiple tables?
I have created a form that uses multiple tables. Now when I try to make
changes on the form so that it updates the table, it will not let me. Is there something I need to do? I am using Access 2002. Thank you. |

Not all queries - especially multi-table queries - are updateable; if the query cannot be updated, neither can the form based upon it. Typically one would use a Form (for the "one" side table) with one or more Subforms (for the "many" side tables) for this purpose, rather than trying to create one monster query to update everything.
