I would like to merge 2 distribution lists and then purge the combined file to delete duplicates.

I would like to merge 2 distribution lists and then purge the combined file to delete duplicates. If you make a third DL that is just a nexting of the first two, that should suffice. Outlook should not send the same message to the same address twice if it can tell they ar duplicate addresses. Otherwise, you'll have to save the DLs and text files and merge them yourself in, say, Excel. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Actually, I think Outlook may send it with the same recipient twice, but
that the outgoing mail server may eliminate the duplicates. Worth testing first. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]" wrote in message ...
