Default Help with Action Buttons and putting a code behind it.

Hi

I need to make buttons in Access and on click it prints out a text.

I've included examples, please have a look.

1. ExcelExample.jpg ( What I used to do when working with Excel)
http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/atta...achmentid=7922

2. AccessExample.jpg ( I want to add buttons like what I did in Excel )
http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/atta...achmentid=7923

Can anyone guide me on how to make it, I'm new to Access.

Thank you for your time.

Richard

No, you can't add buttons to a table, or to a form in datasheet view. What
you can do is to embed a form in datasheet view as a subform within a main
form, and add the buttons to the main form. Take a look at the Orders form
in the Northwind sample database for an example of a main form with an
embedded subfrom.

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.
