Default Keep getting "System Error"

I have been getting the dreaded "Blue Screen" every few weeks. If I
shut the machine off and then on it boots up fine.

I ran Event Viewer and there is always a "system error", category 102,
event 1003.

When I double click on error I get more info. On 5/2/09 it was:

Error code 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 8070194f,
parameter3 f89ebc30, parameter4 f89eb92c.

On 4/22/09 it was:

Error code 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 8070194f,
parameter3 f89e7c30, parameter4 f89e792c.

On 4/6/09 it was:

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000047, parameter2 80521d1c,
parameter3 ecd6d3d8, parameter4 00000000.

And on 3/23/09 it was:

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000047, parameter2 80521d1c,
parameter3 ecd6d3d8, parameter4 00000000.
(same errors as last time)

The errors are not always the same many days apart. What causes this
error?

I run Windows XP with all the Windows updates in place.

thanks.

This newsgroup is for discussions about Microsoft Access, a relational
database program. An XP newsgroup may be the place to begin with this
inquiry.

Please repost in a group supporting WindowsXP. You'll need to indicate what
programs you're running at the time of the error.
