Default Design question

I have a form that has a command button to trigger a follow up form. I would
like the user to be able to access this form if one has been previously
created rather than adding a new form(record). How would I go about doing
this?

Default Design question

Are you wanting to link to an established record in your parent form to your
child form, or do you want to show all records in your child form and be able
to browse through them? If you want to have a specific record displayed,
then you would pass the filtering criteria to the new form. If your form is
set up to be data entry then you will need to change that property also. If
you are just wanting to bring up the new form and browse for records, then
you would just change the property for data entry to 'no'.

I am not a VBA wizard but it kinda sounds like you need to add in some 'if'
statements to your OnClick event for your button on your main form. If I
helped, great. If I didn't, my apologies.
